IT Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plant Operation:

  • Operate ETP units including Equalisation tanks, Neutralisation, Aeration tanks, Clarifiers, Filters, Sludge Drying Beds, etc.

  • Monitor flow, pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, and other parameters regularly.

  • Start, stop, and control pumps, valves, and motors to regulate flow and treatment processes.

• Routine Maintenance & Housekeeping:

  • Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance of ETP equipment and the area.

  • Assist in minor repairs and troubleshooting of pumps, blowers, motors, and pipelines.

  • Ensure sludge handling and drying processes are done as per norms.

• Recordkeeping & Reporting:

  • Maintain logbooks and daily operational checklists.

  • Record parameters like pH, COD, BOD, TDS, and DO readings as per schedule.

  • Report abnormalities, leakages, or any operational issues to the supervisor.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.

  • Ensure compliance with PCB (Pollution Control Board) and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.

  • Support in audits and inspections related to environmental compliance.

• Chemical Handling:

  • Safely handle and dose chemicals like lime, alum, polyelectrolyte, sodium hypochlorite, etc.

  • Ensure proper chemical inventory management and storage practices.
