Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing and supporting desktop environments with a focus on ManageEngine, Sophos Firewall, and Sophos Endpoint solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide day-to-day support to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
ManageEngine Administration:
Monitor and manage desktop support tickets using ManageEngine.
Configure and maintain ManageEngine for optimal performance.
Generate and review reports to identify and resolve recurring issues.
Sophos Firewall and Endpoint Management:
Administer and configure Sophos Firewall to ensure network security.
Manage and update Sophos Endpoint protection on user devices.
Monitor and respond to alerts from Sophos security solutions.
Day-to-Day Troubleshooting:
Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
Perform routine maintenance and updates to keep systems running efficiently.
User Support:
Assist end-users with technical issues via email, phone, and in-person.
Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Provide training and guidance to users on IT policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to address and resolve technical problems.
Prepare and deliver regular reports on system performance, incident resolution, and user support.
Technical Skills:
Proven experience with ManageEngine desktop support and ticket management.
Good knowledge of Sophos Firewall and Sophos Endpoint solutions.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
