IT Hardware Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV & Attendance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting CCTV systems, Biometrics, Boom Barrier, Turnstiles, EPBAX, etc..

Responsibilities:

1.       Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, Biometrics, Boom Barrier, Turnstiles, EPBAX, etc.

2.       Install, configure, and maintain Attendance t systems, including biometric devices, access control ,and time-tracking software.

3.       Conduct site surveys to assess requirements and develop installation plans for CCTV and attendance systems, etc.

4.       Mount and position cameras, biometric devices, and access control

5.       Integrate CCTV and attendance systems with existing networks and security infrastructure.

6.       Configure software settings and parameters for CCTV recording, monitoring, and playback.

7.       Configure attendance management software to track employee time and attendance accurately.

8.       Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV and Attendance systems, including connectivity problems, software glitches, and hardware malfunctions.

9.       Perform regular maintenance and inspections of CCTV and attendance systems to identify and address potential issues proactively.

10.   Provide training and technical support to end-users on CCTV system operation, attendance tracking procedures, and software usage.

11.   Keep detailed records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including equipment serial numbers, configurations, and service history.

Requirements:

1.       Proven experience as a CCTV Engineer and Attendance Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of [1] years of relevant experience.

2.       Strong technical knowledge of CCTV systems, including analog and IP cameras, DVR/NVRs, and video management software.

3.       Proficiency in installation techniques, cable mounting for both CCTV and attendance systems.

4.       Experience with attendance management solutions, including biometric, access control systems, and time-tracking software.

5.       Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN configurations.

6.       Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams for CCTV and attendance equipment.

7.       Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.

8.       Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree BSCIT, BCA, DIPLOMA IN Computer science or electronics & communication

·       Proven experience as a field engineer or in a similar technical support role.

·       Knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.

·       Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

·       Customer-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
