Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Maintenance and Repair:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including motherboard, RAM, and storage problems.
2. Network Administration:
- Design, implement, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and virtual private networks (VPNs).
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure network security and integrity.
3. Network Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve network issues, including connectivity, speed, and performance problems.
- Use network monitoring tools to detect and resolve issues proactively.
4. Collaboration and Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, including hardware and network-related issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and network systems.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of hardware and network configurations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Provide regular reports on network performance, security, and hardware inventory.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hardware and networking.
3. Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA certification preferred.
4. Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and network protocols.
- Experience with network operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.
- Familiarity with network security best practices and threat management.
