Job Title:_ Desktop Support Engineer (Network Focus)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues.
2. Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) using Cisco and Fortigate technologies.
3. Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and desktop systems.
4. Ensure network security, performance, and reliability.
5. Collaborate with teams to integrate network solutions with existing infrastructure.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware and software issues, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
7. Document network configurations, procedures, and policies, as well as desktop support processes.

_Requirements:_

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or Network Engineer (min. 3-5 years).
3. Strong knowledge of:
- Cisco technologies (routers, switches, ASA firewalls).
- Fortigate firewalls and security solutions.
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Network security best practices.
- Desktop hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals).
- Desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS).
4. Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA A+).
5. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

_Nice to Have:_

1. Experience with network monitoring tools.
2. Knowledge of SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless networking.
3. Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
4. Experience with desktop imaging and deployment tools.
