Job Description – Instrumentation & Electrical Technicians

Location: HURL Sindri

Qualification Required

• Min 5 years of work experience required in relevant field

• BE / B.Tech in Instrumentation or Electrical

• Diploma in Instrumentation or Electrical

• ITI in Instrumentation / Electrical

Experience Required

Candidates must have hands-on experience in Instrumentation including:

• PLC operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

• SCADA system monitoring and control

• Experience with Honeywell DCS/PLC systems (preferred)

• Handling, calibration, and maintenance of normal transmitters and smart/digital transmitters

• Knowledge of control valves, field instruments, sensors, and process automation

• Ability to read and interpret P&ID, wiring diagrams, loop drawings

• Troubleshooting plant instrumentation issues

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment

• Coordination with operations and electrical teams for smooth plant functioning

Skills Required

• Strong technical understanding of instrumentation systems

• Ability to work in shift operations

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work safely and follow industry safety standards
