Job Description – Laundry Worker

Position Title: Laundry Worker
Location: Kumbalgodu, Bengaluru

Department: Operations / Laundry Unit

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and press clothes, linens, towels, uniforms, and other items.

• Operate washing machines and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely.

• Inspect clothes for stains and treat them before washing.

• Follow specific instructions provided by clients for garment care.

• Ensure timely cleaning, packing, and delivery of clothes.

• Maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene and safety standards.

• Keep track of supplies like detergents, soaps, and stain removers.

• Perform basic maintenance of machines and inform supervisors when repairs are needed.

• Work collaboratively with other team members and report to the supervisor.

✅ Required Skills:

• Prior experience in laundry or washing is preferred (1–3 years).

• Knowledge of operating washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.

• Awareness of cleaning techniques, safety, and quality standards.

• Good time management and ability to work in a team.

• Attention to detail and responsibility in handling garments.

• Willingness to learn; educational qualification is not mandatory if experience is good.

✅ Educational Qualification:

• Minimum 8th pass or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).

• Practical experience and willingness to learn is more important.

✅ Experience:

• Prior experience in laundry operations is desirable.

• Freshers may be trained and considered for the role.

✅ Work Timings:

• 8 to 10 hours per day.

• Overtime may be required depending on workload.

✅ Salary:

• ₹10,000 – ₹18,000 per month depending on experience.

• Payment can be through cash or bank transfer as per company policy.

• Overtime allowance, incentives, and other benefits may apply.
