Job Summary:

Hospital Laundry Helper is responsible for handling, washing, disinfecting, drying, and distributing hospital linens, uniforms, and patient garments while maintaining strict hygiene and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect soiled linens from hospital wards and departments

• Segregate laundry based on type, color, and contamination level

• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment

• Use proper detergents and disinfectants as per hospital protocols

• Ensure proper drying, ironing, and folding of linens

• Maintain hygiene and infection control standards

• Pack and distribute clean linens to respective departments

• Keep laundry area and machines clean

• Follow safety guidelines and use PPE (gloves, masks, etc.)

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum education: 8th / 10th pass

• Fresher & experienced both can apply

• Basic knowledge of laundry work preferred

• Physically fit and able to work in shifts

Skills Required:

• Hygiene & infection control knowledge

• Machine handling (washer/dryer/press)

• Attention to detail

• Teamwork and discipline

Salary & Benefits (Example):

• Salary: ₹11,000 – ₹16,000 per month
