Sorting & Preparation: Sort soiled laundry by color, fabric, and washing instructions. Pre-treat stains and inspect items for damage. [1, 2, 3]
Machine Operation: Load and unload commercial washing machines and dryers. Set correct temperatures, cycles, and dispense proper amounts of detergent or bleach.
Finishing & Organization: Neatly fold, iron, or hang clean laundry. Package, tag, and organize items for storage or delivery. [1, 2, 3]
Facility Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the laundry area daily, including sweeping floors, wiping down machines, and emptying dryer lint traps. [1, 2, 3]
Inventory Control: Monitor supplies (detergents, fabric softeners, bags) and notify supervisors when restocked items are needed
