Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.

• Assign daily tasks and ensure timely completion.

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and workstations for cleanliness and compliance with standards.

• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.

• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or disciplinary action as needed.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report maintenance issues.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

• Prepare schedules, shift rosters, and attendance records.

• Address guest complaints or requests in a professional and timely manner.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations (e.g., front office, maintenance).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience (2+ years) in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling
