Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure that all cleanliness, sanitation, and guest service standards are met in a timely and efficient manner. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping department and ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise housekeeping staff and delegate tasks to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and customer service.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.

• Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance records.

• Report maintenance issues to the relevant department promptly.

• Address guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner.

• Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning products, and equipment.

• Assist in recruiting and evaluating housekeeping staff.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role.

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Certificate or diploma in hospitality management is a plus.

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Work Conditions:

• Physically demanding role; must be able to lift, bend, and be on feet for extended periods.

• Fast-paced environment with the need to manage multiple tasks.
