Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are maintained in patient rooms, public areas, offices, and other assigned areas of the hospital/facility.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and guide housekeeping staff during shifts
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
Conduct regular inspections of rooms, wards, washrooms, and public areas
Prepare duty rosters and allocate work assignments
Monitor usage of housekeeping materials and cleaning chemicals
Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety, and infection control practices
Coordinate with maintenance and nursing departments for operational requirements
Maintain attendance and housekeeping records
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and NABH standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate / Diploma in Housekeeping or Hospitality Management preferred
2–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations
Experience in hospital housekeeping preferred

Working Conditions
Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays
Standing and walking for extended periods may be required
