Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision & Team Management

• Supervise, train, and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient daily operations.

• Assign tasks, inspect completed work, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

• Maintain staff schedules and manage attendance/shift planning.

2. Housekeeping Operations

• Ensure all rooms, common areas, and workspaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained.

• Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and presentation standards.

• Identify maintenance issues and coordinate with the technical/maintenance team for repairs.

• Ensure timely cleaning during peak hours and smooth workflow.

3. Inventory & Supplies

• Manage inventory of cleaning materials, linens, guest supplies, and equipment.

• Place orders, restock items, and ensure proper storage of chemicals and tools.

• Monitor usage to reduce waste and maintain cost efficiency.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with housekeeping policies, safety standards, and hygiene protocols.

• Train staff in proper cleaning techniques and safe chemical usage.

• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, checklists, and inspection reports.

5. Customer/Guest Service

• Address guest or employee concerns and resolve issues promptly.

• Ensure a positive experience by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

• Coordinate with front office or management for special requests or housekeeping needs.
