We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Captain Clean India Private Limited to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. The role includes using appropriate cleaning methods, handling chemicals safely, and ensuring a sanitized environment. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹18,000 - ₹30,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping team to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all guests and staff. This role involves inspecting work areas, training staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervision and Training
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure compliance with standards.
- Train, schedule, and monitor the performance of housekeeping staff.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
2. Quality Control
- Ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or complaints promptly.
- Implement and maintain housekeeping quality standards and procedures.
3. Inventory Management
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory.
- Order and stock necessary supplies while maintaining budget guidelines.
- Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
4. Administrative Duties
- Prepare and maintain records of work assignments, inventory, and personnel actions.
- Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
5. Health and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular training on safety and hygiene standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
6.Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is 10th Pass and 1 - 5 years of experience. Expert knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is essential. The role requires candidates with time management skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina to perform tasks efficiently.
