The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards across the F&B kitchen, food production areas, storage, and factory premises. This role ensures compliance with food safety standards, statutory requirements, and company SOPs while leading and managing the housekeeping team effectively.
Supervision & Team Management
Assign daily housekeeping tasks to staff across kitchen, production, and factory areas.
Monitor performance and ensure adherence to hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Train staff in cleaning techniques, use of chemicals, safety procedures, and personal hygiene.
Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance.
Cleaning & Hygiene Standards
Ensure deep cleaning and sanitization of kitchen equipment, utensils, production floors, and storage areas.
Monitor waste disposal, pest control measures, and chemical handling.
Maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation areas as per FSSAI & HACCP guidelines.
Regularly inspect washrooms, staff dining, and common areas.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
Conduct regular audits/inspections and document reports.
Monitor housekeeping stock (cleaning materials, PPE, sanitizers) and raise requisitions as required.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with kitchen, production, and factory managers for daily cleaning schedules.
Report maintenance issues (leaks, damages, equipment faults) to engineering/maintenance team.
Submit daily/weekly housekeeping reports to management.
Graduate / Diploma preferred, with 2–4 years’ supervisory experience in housekeeping (preferably in F&B, hospitality, or factory environment).
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and sanitation practices.
Familiarity with food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage a multi-shift workforce.
Strong sense of hygiene & cleanliness.
Attention to detail.
Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced F&B/production environment.
Team leadership and staff motivation.
