Staff Management and Scheduling
Assign tasks: Distribute cleaning duties and room allocations to attendants at the start of each shift.
Create schedules: Plan work rosters, shifts, breaks, and manage staff attendance or replacements.
Train and mentor: Conduct daily briefings, deliver hands-on training, and review performance.
Quality Control and Inspections
Inspect areas: Check guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces using strict checklists.
Verify standards: Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and correct placement of room amenities.
Handle shortages: Step in to clean rooms or common areas during staff shortages or urgent turnarounds.
Inventory and Supplies
Track stock: Monitor inventory levels for linens, cleaning chemicals, and guest amenities.
Order supplies: Reorder low stock and distribute equipment to the team.
Equipment upkeep: Report broken tools and arrange for repair or maintenance.
Department Coordination
Report maintenance: Notify the maintenance team about broken fixtures, lights, or appliances.
Sync with front desk: Update room readiness statuses and manage special guest or VIP requests.
Resolve complaints: Address guest issues promptly and take corrective action to prevent future errors.
