Housekeeping Supervisor

• Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned, maintained, and organized according to company standards.

• Assign daily duties and responsibilities to housekeeping attendants and monitor their performance.

• Inspect rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper upkeep.

• Ensure cleaning schedules are followed for daily, weekly, and deep cleaning tasks.

• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures.

• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment; raise requisitions when stock is low.

• Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards as per company and client requirements.

• Report maintenance issues such as electrical faults, plumbing problems, or furniture damage to the maintenance department.

• Prepare and maintain records such as attendance, cleaning checklists, inspection reports, and stock registers.

• Coordinate with facility managers and clients to address complaints or special cleaning requests promptly.

• Ensure staff follow grooming standards and wear proper uniforms and safety gear during work.

• Monitor waste disposal and recycling practices to ensure environmental compliance and cleanliness.

• Plan staff schedules and duty rosters based on manpower availability and site requirements.

• Conduct regular briefings and meetings to communicate work updates and reinforce service standards.
