Housekeeping Supervisor

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations and ensure all assigned areas are clean, well-maintained, and presentable.

• Assign duties to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance throughout the day.

• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, washrooms, corridors, and other areas to maintain hygiene and quality standards.

• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning materials, tools, and equipment.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, uniforms, and other housekeeping materials; raise requisitions as needed.

• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.

• Handle guest or employee complaints regarding cleanliness and take immediate corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion.

• Coordinate with the maintenance department for repair or replacement of damaged fixtures and equipment.

• Maintain attendance records and work reports of housekeeping staff.

• Monitor the proper segregation and disposal of waste in accordance with environmental and company policies.

• Support in managing outsourced housekeeping contracts (if applicable).

• Ensure housekeeping staff follow grooming standards and professional conduct at all times.

• Report any major maintenance or safety issues to the concerned department immediately.
