Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation in all assigned areas. The role includes supervising housekeeping staff, assigning duties, inspecting work, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver efficient and high-quality cleaning services.

• Assign daily cleaning duties and ensure completion as per schedule.

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, offices, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.

• Maintain housekeeping supply inventory and place orders as required.

• Coordinate with maintenance and front office departments for repairs, guest requests, and special cleaning tasks.

• Prepare duty rosters, attendance records, and performance reports of the housekeeping team.

• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.

• Handle guest complaints or feedback promptly and professionally.

• Support in organizing deep cleaning, pest control, and special projects.

• Train staff on cleaning techniques, use of cleaning chemicals, and equipment safety.
