The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of the facility. The role includes supervising staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service in a timely and efficient manner.
Team Supervision:
Supervise, train, and guide housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance across all areas.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
Work Scheduling:
Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during shifts.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment. Ensure timely requisition of materials to avoid shortages.
Guest/Customer Service:
Address and resolve housekeeping-related complaints from guests or employees promptly and professionally.
Compliance:
Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Reporting:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on housekeeping activities, including maintenance issues, staff performance, and inventory status.
Training & Development:
Organize regular training sessions to improve team efficiency, safety awareness, and service quality.
