Job Description

room attendant is a hospitality professional who cleans and maintains hotel rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. Key duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, restocking supplies like toiletries and towels, and responding to guest requests. They also ensure rooms are properly prepared before a guest's arrival. Key responsibilitiesCleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, polishing furniture, cleaning windows, and sanitizing bathrooms, floors, and public areas.Bed and linen management: Changing bed linens and replacing used towels according to hotel policy.Restocking supplies: Replenishing complimentary toiletries, beverages, and other guest amenities in the rooms.Guest interaction: Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner.Maintenance: Reporting any maintenance needs, such as a burnt-out lightbulb, to the appropriate staff.Housekeeping support: Preparing housekeeping carts with supplies and linens, and ensuring cleaning equipment is maintained.
