Housekeeping Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and a pleasant environment in the assigned area, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, stock, and organize assigned areas such as rooms, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and hallways.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and furniture.

• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities as needed (in hospitality settings).

• Remove trash and recyclables and ensure proper disposal.

• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch surfaces.

• Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

• Follow all health and safety regulations and organizational policies.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests or residents.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

• Basic understanding of cleaning products and equipment.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.

Work Environment:

• May include hotels, hospitals, offices, or residential facilities.

• Involves physical labor and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
