Key Responsibilities
Manage overall housekeeping operations.
Ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
Supervise housekeeping staff and daily work allocation.
Conduct room and public area inspections.
Maintain cleanliness as per hotel standards.
Prepare staff duty rosters and schedules.
Monitor housekeeping inventory and linen stock.
Coordinate with Front Office for room readiness.
Coordinate with Maintenance for repair work.
Train and guide housekeeping staff.
Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping.
Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance.
Control departmental expenses and reduce wastage.
Prepare daily housekeeping reports.
Monitor laundry and linen operations.
Ensure staff grooming, discipline, and attendance.
Improve guest satisfaction through quality service.
Conduct regular team meetings and inspections.
Report department performance to the Executive Housekeeper/Hotel Management.
