Housekeeping Helper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Helper to support our housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and order across our facility. The ideal candidate will assist in cleaning tasks, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all residents, guests, or employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist housekeeping staff in daily cleaning operations across rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas.

• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum floors and carpets.

• Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and toiletries.

• Collect and dispose of garbage and recyclables.

• Wash and sanitize surfaces and restrooms according to hygiene standards.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.

• Ensure housekeeping storage areas are clean and organized.

• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly.

• Respond to urgent cleaning requests from supervisors or management.

• Assist in inventory management and restocking of housekeeping supplies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning practices and safe handling of chemicals.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor (e.g., lifting, standing, bending for long hours).

• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
