Job Title: Housekeeping Boy

Department: Facility Management / Housekeeping
Reporting To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Site In-charge

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of assigned areas to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

• Clean and sanitize washrooms, pantries, corridors, staircases, and common areas.

• Dispose of garbage and waste material in designated areas.

• Refill consumables such as soap, tissue paper, handwash, and room fresheners.

• Clean furniture, glass partitions, doors, windows, and fixtures.

• Operate basic housekeeping equipment and cleaning tools safely.

• Follow hygiene, safety, and company SOPs at all times.

• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor immediately.

• Support pantry services or event arrangements when required.

• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and proper grooming.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in housekeeping/facility services is an advantage.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and tools is desirable.

• Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required.

• Honest, disciplined, and team-oriented.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards

• Ability to follow instructions

• Time management and attention to detail

• Polite behavior and good work ethics

Working Conditions:

• Indoor/Outdoor work depending on site requirements

• Shift duty as per operational needs
