Job Summary
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces at Seven Seas Hotel. The role requires attention to detail, a guest-focused attitude, and adherence to the hotel's cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas as per hotel standards.
Change bed linen, make beds, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities and room supplies.
Ensure all cleaning activities are completed efficiently and within the stipulated time.
Handle cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies safely and appropriately.
Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and room defects to the supervisor promptly.
Follow hotel procedures for lost and found items and report any articles found in guest rooms.
Maintain the cleanliness and proper storage of housekeeping trolleys, equipment, and supplies.
Follow hygiene, health, safety, and infection-control procedures.
Respect guest privacy and follow hotel policies regarding guest belongings and room access.
Respond politely to guest requests and coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Support deep-cleaning activities, periodic cleaning schedules, and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum qualification: 12th pass preferred.
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role is preferred; freshers may also apply.
Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and housekeeping procedures is an advantage.
