Role overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen All-rounder to support our base kitchen operations. This is a hands-on role covering both kitchen cleaning and basic food preparation — ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
Cleaning & sanitation
Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, countertops, floors, walls, and drainage areas after each shift
Wash, scrub, and organise utensils, pots, pans, and crockery as per hygiene standards
Dispose of kitchen waste correctly and maintain cleanliness of bin areas and cold storage rooms
Follow FSSAI / hotel hygiene and food safety protocols at all times
Basic food preparation
Assist in washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients
Support the cook / chef in mise en place (prep work) before service begins
Receive, store, and rotate stock in dry stores, refrigerators, and freezers correctly
Carry out any additional kitchen duties as directed by the Head Cook or Kitchen Supervisor
Requirements
Minimum 8th pass; food handling certificate an advantage
Freshers welcome; prior kitchen or food service experience preferred
Good physical stamina — ability to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen environment
Basic awareness of food hygiene, personal grooming, and kitchen safety
Punctual, disciplined, and able to follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
Willing to work early morning, split, or weekend shifts as per kitchen schedule
