Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish surfaces
Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels
Replenish supplies such as toiletries, soap, and paper products
Dispose of waste and handle recycling appropriately
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
Follow health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures
Assist with laundry duties when required
Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies
Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Good physical stamina and attention to detail
Time management and organizational skills
Basic communication skills
Prior experience in housekeeping (preferred but not always required)
Working Conditions:
May involve standing for long periods, bending, and lifting
Work shifts may include weekends, holidays, or evenings
Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with proper safety measures)
Education & Experience:
Minimum: High school education or equivalent (varies by employer)
Training is often provided on the job
