Role Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of guest rooms, dormitories, common areas, and public spaces at the property. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every guest has a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, dormitories, washrooms, and common areas as per property standards and checklists

• Ensure timely turnover of rooms/beds between guest check-outs and check-ins

• Handle linen, towels, and laundry management, including inventory tracking

• Restock guest amenities, toiletries, and housekeeping supplies as needed

• Maintain cleanliness of lounges, cafés, terraces, and other shared guest spaces

• Report maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, furniture damage, etc.) promptly to the maintenance team

• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols

• Coordinate with the front office team on room status and guest requirements

• Assist with deep-cleaning schedules and periodic property upkeep tasks

• Handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals responsibly and safely

Candidate Requirements

• No prior experience required — freshers and experienced candidates both welcome

• Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel/hospitality setting is a plus

• Physically fit and able to work in rotational shifts

• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards

• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices

• Good team coordination and a proactive attitude

• Willingness to work at outstation/tourist locations, if required
