The Housekeeping Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness within the office premises. This role ensures that the workplace is clean, sanitary, and well-organized to create a pleasant and safe environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming office areas, workstations, washrooms, and common spaces.
Clean and sanitize washrooms, pantry, and kitchen areas, ensuring availability of necessary supplies (soap, tissue, sanitizer, etc.).
Empty trash bins and handle waste disposal in a hygienic manner.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness of meeting rooms, reception area, and corridors.
Handle basic pantry tasks such as making tea/coffee, serving water, and arranging refreshments for staff and guests when required.
Maintain housekeeping supplies inventory and report shortages to the Admin/Facility Manager.
Follow safety and hygiene standards while using cleaning materials and equipment.
Assist in internal office arrangements (moving chairs, setting up for meetings/events, etc.).
Report any maintenance issues or damages (plumbing, electrical, furniture, etc.) to the concerned department.
Ensure adherence to company’s health, safety, and cleanliness policies.
Prior experience in housekeeping/cleaning (preferred, but not mandatory).
Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, mops, floor cleaners, etc.).
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
Physically fit and able to perform tasks requiring manual effort.
Good time management and attention to detail.
Trustworthy, punctual, and disciplined.
Minimum: 8th / 10th pass (preferred).
Additional training in housekeeping or facility management will be an advantage.
