Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, wards, ICUs, OPDs, operation theatres, and public areas as per hospital standards.

• Maintain cleanliness of floors, furniture, washrooms, windows, and hospital premises.

• Collect and dispose of biomedical waste and general waste as per hospital waste management rules.

• Replenish supplies such as soap, sanitizers, tissues, and cleaning materials.

• Assist in shifting patients on wheelchairs/stretchers when required.

• Report any maintenance issues (broken equipment, leaks, damages) to the supervisor.

• Follow infection control protocols strictly to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

• Handle cleaning equipment (mops, vacuums, floor machines) safely and maintain them properly.

• Support during emergency situations (e.g., spills, patient shifting, disaster management).

• Maintain attendance, discipline, and grooming as per hospital standards.
