Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation, cutting, chopping, portioning, and basic cooking as per recipes.

  • Follow standardized recipes, portion control, and food quality standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and utensils.

  • Follow FIFO/FEFO practices for stock rotation and maintain proper food storage.

  • Check the quality, freshness, and expiry dates of raw materials.

  • Support receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen inventory.

  • Follow FSSAI food safety guidelines and company SOPs.

  • Minimize food wastage and ensure proper utilization of ingredients.

  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure timely order preparation.

  • Follow personal hygiene, grooming, uniform, and safety standards.

  • Report stock shortages, equipment issues, and food quality concerns to the supervisor.

  • Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
