Job Summary

Hotel H Grand is looking for dedicated and hardworking Housekeeping Staff to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort throughout the hotel. The selected candidate will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, preparing beds, maintaining washrooms, handling waste disposal, and assisting guests professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Room Cleaning & Maintenance

Clean and sanitize guest rooms daily.

Change bed sheets, pillow covers, blankets, and towels.

Make beds neatly according to hotel standards.

Dust furniture, windows, mirrors, and room fixtures.

Vacuum and mop floors regularly.

Refill room amenities such as water bottles, toiletries, and tissues.

Washroom Cleaning

Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, and bathroom floors.

Replenish soap, shampoo, tissues, and other bathroom supplies.

Ensure washrooms remain hygienic and odor-free.

Waste Management

Empty room and common-area dustbins.

Segregate and dispose of waste according to hotel procedures.

Maintain cleanliness around waste collection areas.

Guest Service

Respond politely to guest requests and queries.

Report maintenance issues or guest complaints to supervisors.

Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with guests.

General Housekeeping Duties

Keep corridors, staircases, and common areas clean.

Follow hotel hygiene and safety standards.

Assist with deep-cleaning activities whenever required.

Handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials responsibly.

Requirements

Basic reading and communication skills.

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to work in shifts and perform physical tasks.

Good personal hygiene and grooming.

Honest, punctual, and responsible attitude.

Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Working Hours

Shift-based duty.

12 hours working shift followed by 12 hours rest as per hotel scheduling.

Weekly off as per management policy.
