📌 Key Responsibilities

1. Cleaning & Sanitation

✔ Daily cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting of all patient rooms, corridors, waiting areas, lifts, reception areas, toilets, and public spaces.
✔ Special cleaning and disinfection in high-risk zones (like Operating Theatres, ICUs, emergency areas).
✔ Cleaning and sanitising frequently touched surfaces (door handles, beds, railings).
✔ Waste collection and proper disposal in line with hospital infection control standards.

2. Infection Control Support

✔ Maintain hospital hygiene standards that reduce spread of infectious diseases.
✔ Coordinate with infection control teams on proper use of disinfectants and cleaning protocols.
✔ Identify and report potential hygiene risks in patient and staff areas.

3. Linen, Laundry & Waste Handling

✔ Collection and handling of used bed sheets, towels, and laundry items.
✔ Ensure proper segregation and safe disposal of biomedical waste.
✔ Coordinate with internal laundry services or external vendors as needed
