सफाई करना व साफ-सुथरा माहौल बनाए रखना मुख्य जिम्मेदारी है��।फर्श, दीवार, खिड़की, दरवाज़े और फर्नीचर की धूल झाड़ना व पोंछा लगाना��।कूड़ेदान खाली करना और कचरा सही तरीके से निपटाना�।बिस्तर बदलना और बेडशीट, तकिया, तौलिए आदि की व्यवस्था करना��।बाथरूम व टॉयलेट की सफाई सेनेटाइजेशन सहित करना��।फर्श और कालीन की वैक्यूमिंग अथवा डीप क्लीनिंग करना��।ग्राहकों या निवासियों की समस्याओं या शिकायतों को संबंधित अधिकारी को रिपोर्ट करना�।साफ-सफाई के उपकरण और केमिकल्स का सुरक्षित प्रयोग करना��।होटल, ऑफिस या घर में जरूरत पड़ने पर हल्के-फुल्के रद्दी समान हटाना या सामान जमाना�।स्वच्छता, विनम्रता और समयनिष्ठा बनाए रखना अनिवार्य है��।यह मुख्य बिंदु आमतौर पर सभी हाउसकीपिंग कर्मचारियों के लिए अनिवार्य माने जाते हैं
