Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Hygiene

Clean and disinfect rooms, corridors, washrooms, wards, offices, and common areas

Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors regularly

Clean beds, furniture, doors, windows, and handrails

Maintain cleanliness of toilets and wash basins with proper disinfectants

Waste Management

Collect and dispose of waste as per facility guidelines

Segregate biomedical waste (where applicable)

Ensure dustbins are cleaned and lined properly

Laundry Support

Collect soiled linen and clothes

Assist in washing, drying, folding, and distributing clean linen

Maintain cleanliness of laundry area

Supplies & Equipment

Use cleaning materials and equipment safely

Refill soap, handwash, tissue papers, and sanitizers

Report shortages or damage of cleaning tools

Safety & Infection Control

Follow infection control protocols

Use gloves, masks, and PPE as required
