Job Title: Housekeeping Staff (Home)

Reporting To: Homeowner / Family Representative

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the residence. The role includes daily cleaning, organizing household areas, maintaining the pantry, and assisting with routine household tasks to ensure a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, kitchen, balconies, and other household spaces.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas daily.

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and toilets.

• Make beds, change bed linens, and maintain room cleanliness.

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes and household linens as required.

• Organize wardrobes, cabinets, and storage areas.

• Clean kitchen counters, utensils, and appliances after use.

• Refill household essentials such as toiletries, cleaning supplies, and pantry items when required.

• Dispose of household waste and maintain proper hygiene.

• Water indoor plants and assist with basic home maintenance tasks, if assigned.

• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or repair requirements to the homeowner.

• Handle household items with care and maintain confidentiality and privacy.

• Perform any other household duties assigned by the homeowner.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Class VIII/X pass (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience as a residential housekeeper or domestic helper.

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, household appliances, and cleaning products.

• Honest, trustworthy, disciplined, and respectful.

• Physically fit and able to perform daily household cleaning tasks.

• Good personal hygiene and a neat appearance.

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Time management and attention to detail.

• Basic cooking or kitchen assistance (preferred but not mandatory).

• Laundry and ironing skills.

• Ability to organize household items efficiently.

• Polite behavior and good communication skills.

Working Hours:

Full-time
