Position Title: Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for guests, residents, or employees. This role ensures that assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or scrub floors, carpets, and rugs.
Change bed linens and make beds in guest rooms or living areas.
Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs.
Replenish towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards.
Follow health and safety regulations and company cleaning procedures.
Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of supplies.
Assist with laundry duties (washing, drying, folding) when required.
Respond promptly to guest or resident requests.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
Physical stamina to handle standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
May be required to work weekends, holidays, or evenings.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.
Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to [X] lbs.
