Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide housekeeping staff including room attendants, janitors, and cleaners.

• Inspect rooms, public areas, and work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

• Assign duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and housekeeping equipment.

• Train new housekeeping employees on procedures and safety protocols.

• Address guest or client complaints and resolve issues promptly.

• Prepare housekeeping schedules and duty rosters.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

• Monitor staff attendance and report absenteeism or disciplinary issues.

• Coordinate with maintenance and front office departments for smooth workflow.

• Maintain records related to housekeeping operations (cleaning checklists, inspection reports, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 12th pass or Graduate.

• 1–3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good organizational and time management abilities.

• Ability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts.

• Familiarity with MS Office is a plus.

• Physically fit to carry out inspection and support tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
