House Keeping Staff

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms as per hotel standards

• Change bed linen, towels, and replenish room amenities

• Clean bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures

• Ensure rooms are ready for guest check-in on time

• Report maintenance issues or damaged items immediately

• Maintain cleanliness in corridors, lobbies, and common areas

• Handle laundry services when required

• Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures

• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies properly

• Respond politely to guest requests and assist when needed

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Attention to detail and cleanliness

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good time management skills

• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours

• Honest, punctual, and well-groomed

Experience & Qualification

• Prior housekeeping experience preferred (hotel or service apartment)

• No formal qualification required (training provided)

Work Environment

• Hotel rooms, public areas, and service areas

• Shift-based work including weekends and holidays
