Core responsibilities
General cleaning: Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; dust and polish furniture and fixtures; and clean surfaces in all areas, including common spaces, bedrooms, and kitchens.
Sanitization: Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks), and disinfect countertops and other frequently touched areas.
Restocking and inventory: Replenish guest and cleaning supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning agents; monitor and report on the inventory of supplies.
Waste removal: Collect and dispose of garbage and recycling from all areas.
Additional duties
Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to a supervisor.
Lost and found: Report and turn in any lost and found items discovered during cleaning.
Tidying: Perform general tidying and organizing of rooms.
Equipment maintenance: Clean, maintain, and properly store all housekeeping equipment at the end of a shift.
