The Café Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and pleasant environment for customers and staff. This role ensures all café areas, kitchen spaces, and customer touchpoints are kept neat, sanitized, and well-organized.
Sweep and mop all café floors, including dining area, kitchen, and entrance.
Wipe and sanitize tables, chairs, countertops, and service stations.
Clean washrooms: sanitize toilets, wash basins, refill tissue/soap, and maintain hygiene standards.
Dispose of garbage and replace dustbin liners regularly.
Clean glass doors, windows, and display counters.
Dust all surfaces including shelves, décor, equipment stands, etc.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, sinks, and prep tables.
Wash utensils if required or assist kitchen staff during rush hours.
Clean machines and equipment exteriors (coffee machine, fridge handles, etc.).
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and walk-in spaces.
Deep clean floors and working areas after closing.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment surfaces.
Organize cleaning materials and ensure safe storage.
Ensure all waste is properly disposed of.
Follow café SOPs and FSSAI hygiene guidelines.
Use cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
Maintain personal hygiene and wear proper uniform.
Report maintenance issues (broken tiles, leaking taps, etc.) to the manager.
Basic knowledge of cleaning and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently and manage time.
Physically fit to perform cleaning tasks.
Honest, disciplined, and responsible.
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not mandatory.
Flexible shifts as per café operations.
