Housekeeping Gardener

Key Responsibilities

· Daily watering and maintenance of plants, trees, shrubs, lawns, and indoor plants.

· Pruning, trimming, weeding, planting, transplanting, and basic landscaping activities.

· Apply fertilizers, manure, pesticides, and other plant-care products as instructed by the supervisor.

· Identify dry, damaged, diseased, or unhealthy plants and report the same to the supervisor.

· Replace dead or damaged plants as instructed.

· Maintain flower beds, lawns, planters, hedges, and other landscaped areas.

· Maintain cleanliness of garden areas and remove dry leaves, weeds, and garden waste.

· Ensure proper use and care of gardening tools and equipment.

· Follow instructions regarding plant maintenance schedules and site-specific requirements.

· Support seasonal planting and landscaping activities.

· Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance while working at client premises.

· Follow all safety procedures while handling gardening tools, fertilizers, pesticides, and equipment.

· Maintain proper attendance and punctuality at the assigned client location.

· Maintain professional and courteous behaviour with clients, visitors, and colleagues.

· Immediately report any plant damage, equipment issue, site concern, or client complaint to the supervisor.

· Perform any other gardening or landscaping-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Eligibility & Requirements

· Previous experience as a Gardener / Landscaping Worker / Plant Maintenance Worker will be preferred.

· Basic knowledge of plants, gardening, watering, pruning, and plant maintenance.

· Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors for extended periods.

· Willingness to work at different client locations in Bangalore.

· Should be punctual, disciplined, reliable, and responsible.

· Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.

· Basic communication skills in Kannada/Hindi/English will be an advantage.
