Cleaner

Key responsibilities

• Surface cleaning: Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust floors, furniture, and other surfaces in offices, homes, or public spaces.

• Sanitation: Disinfect high-touch areas, wash and scrub toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures to maintain hygiene standards.

• Waste management: Empty trash and recycling bins, dispose of waste, and ensure receptacles are clean.

• Supply management: Refill and restock consumables like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Track inventory and order new supplies as needed.

• Minor maintenance: Perform basic repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, or unclogging sinks.

• Specialized tasks: Depending on the setting, this could include cleaning windows, washing laundry, or performing deep cleaning and disinfection.

• Adherence to safety: Follow health and safety guidelines, including using cleaning chemicals and equipment properly and maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs). 

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and cleaning schedules.

• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

• Familiarity with using various cleaning agents and equipment.

• Good physical stamina to perform tasks that can be physically demanding.

• Depending on the role, some positions may require a background check or specific training in health and safety protocols. 

• It is a Full Time Housekeeping job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
