Car Washer Job Description (JD)

Job Title: Car Washer / Car Wash Attendant
Department: Service / Detailing
Reports To: Service Manager / Supervisor
Location-Patiala

Job Summary

A Car Washer is responsible for cleaning vehicles inside and out, assisting customers, and ensuring vehicles are delivered in neat condition while maintaining workplace safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and clean vehicle exterior using proper tools and chemicals.

• Vacuum interiors, wipe dashboards, seats, and windows.

• Perform pre-wash inspection and ensure vehicle safety in wash bay.

• Guide vehicles into washing area or onto conveyor safely.

• Dry, polish, and apply tire shine or detailing products.

• Maintain cleanliness of washing area, tools, and equipment.

• Monitor equipment and report faults or safety issues.

• Provide basic customer assistance and answer service queries.

• Follow company safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Basic education (10th/12th preferred).

• Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift.

• Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment.

• Team player with good attitude and punctuality.

• Driving license (preferred for moving vehicles).
