Housekeeping Car washer

Job Summary

We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Car Washer / Car Detailer to clean, wash and maintain vehicles to a high standard. The candidate will be responsible for both interior and exterior cleaning, basic detailing, proper handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals, and ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and clean the exterior of cars using water, shampoo and appropriate cleaning products.

• Perform pressure washing, scrubbing, rinsing and drying of vehicles.

• Clean interiors including seats, carpets, mats, dashboard, doors and windows.

• Vacuum the vehicle interior and remove dust, dirt and debris.

• Clean tyres, wheels, wheel arches and other exterior areas.

• Perform basic polishing, waxing and finishing as required.

• Use pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, polishers and other cleaning equipment safely.

• Handle cleaning chemicals according to company guidelines.

• Inspect the vehicle before and after cleaning and report any existing damage or concerns to the supervisor.

• Ensure customer vehicles are handled carefully during the cleaning process.

• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the washing/detailing area.

• Properly clean and maintain all tools and equipment after use.

• Complete assigned vehicles within the required turnaround time.

• Follow all safety, hygiene and environmental procedures.

• Coordinate with service advisors and other team members to ensure vehicles are delivery-ready.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of car washing and cleaning techniques.

• Knowledge of interior and exterior vehicle cleaning.

• Basic understanding of car detailing, polishing and waxing.

• Ability to operate washing and vacuum equipment.

• Good attention to detail.

• Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Punctual, disciplined and responsible.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Freshers can apply if they are willing to learn.

• Previous experience in car washing, car detailing, automobile workshops, dealerships or car service centres will be an advantage.

• It is a Full Time Housekeeping job for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience.
