Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily inward & outward material movement.

• Ensure timely unloading, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods.

• Maintain proper stacking, labeling, and storage as per company guidelines.

• Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).

• Ensure timely dispatch planning with sales/transport team.

2. Inventory Management

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits.

• Ensure zero stock variance and investigate discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate records in ERP / warehouse management system.

• Track slow-moving, damaged, or expired items.

3. Team Management

• Assign tasks to warehouse staff and monitor their performance.

• Ensure compliance with attendance, discipline, and work instructions.

• Train new hire warehouse staff on processes and safety.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Verify GRNs, delivery challans, invoices, material request notes, etc.

• Prepare daily stock reports, inward/outward reports, and dispatch MIS.

• Coordinate with accounts, purchase, sales, and logistics team.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all safety protocols inside the warehouse are followed.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping (5S) standards.

• Ensure proper use of PPE, handling equipment, and safety procedures.

6. Equipment & Maintenance

• Monitor usage and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, weighing machines, etc.

• Report repairs and ensure timely servicing.
