The company currently operates 70+ Biomass Banks across multiple Indian states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, etc. Its business operations include supply chain services for bioenergy companies, biomass processing contracts, equipment rentals, distribution of bio-products including Fermented Organic Manure (FOM), and energy plantations.
The Biomass Bank™ model has been recognized by the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) as a Unique Green Energy Technology Model and received the Indian Green Energy Award 2023, supported by MNRE, MoRTH, and Mission LiFE under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India.
As BiofuelCircle continues to expand its biomass infrastructure footprint across India, BFC Supply is scaling its Biomass Bank™ network to strengthen nationwide aggregation, storage, and processing capabilities while supporting the integration of one million farmers into the biofuel supply chain.
Key purpose of the role:
The Warehouse Supervisor – Biomass Bank is responsible for ensuring
efficient warehouse operations, equipment availability, inventory
accuracy, fuel reconciliation, and compliance with SOPs across the
Biomass Bank. The role focuses on managing equipment lifecycle, daily
deployment, fuel and inventory management, warehouse safety, quality
parameters (moisture & temperature), and contract manpower
attendance leveraging both platform-based systems and manual controls
to ensure high asset productivity and operational readiness.
Key tasks involved:
1. Equipment Lifecycle & Asset Management
• Onboard new equipment on the platform
• Manage equipment transfer-in and transfer-out between Biomass Banks.
• Update equipment status on the platform:
• Active (working condition)
• In-active (breakdown)
• Coordinate repair and ensure timely reactivation of equipment
• Track asset productivity and utilization
2. Equipment Deployment Management
• Perform daily equipment check-out and check-in on the platform
• Ensure availability of equipment as per operational requirement
• Monitor equipment deployment and utilization
• Escalate equipment shortages or downtime
3. Fuel & Inventory Management for all Bio Products
• Dispense fuel using Repos system
• Maintain daily fuel reconciliation on the platform
• Update inventory (Inward & Outward) on the platform
• Verify physical stock vs platform stock regularly
• Schedule deliveries for confirmed orders
• Optimize delivery schedules to reduce logistics cost
4. Warehouse Operations & SOP Compliance
• Ensure warehouse operations as per defined SOPs
• Maintain proper stacking as per approved layout
• Monitor and record moisture and temperature levels
• Ensure safety signages are displayed and maintained
• Conduct regular equipment readiness and maintenance checks
• Raise requisitions for refuelling and spares
• Maintain spare stock inventory
• Distribute safety kits and maintain records
• Ensure visual management practices inside the warehouse.
5. Quality Monitoring (Moisture & Temperature)
• Conduct moisture and temperature check as per SOP
• Record and upload moisture & temperature data on the platform
• Ensure quality compliance before aggregation and dispatch
6. Manpower & Attendance Management
• Maintain daily attendance of contract manpower
• Ensure adequate manpower availability for warehouse operations
• Coordinate with vendors for attendance discrepancies

This role offers the opportunity to independently manage end-to-end
warehouse and asset operations at a Biomass Bank. The Warehouse
Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring equipment uptime, inventory
accuracy, fuel control, quality compliance, and safe warehouse operations
directly contributing to higher productivity, reduced operational losses, and
smooth aggregation and delivery execution.
