About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operations of a growing FMCG company based in Naini, Prayagraj.

The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring that products are received, stored, managed, and dispatched smoothly and accurately. The role requires someone who is comfortable working on the ground, managing a warehouse team, maintaining proper inventory records, and coordinating with different departments to keep operations running efficiently.

A strong understanding of Tally and Advanced Excel is mandatory for this position.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Take complete responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of the warehouse.

• Manage the complete process of receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, loading, and dispatching goods.

• Ensure that stock is properly arranged and easy to locate within the warehouse.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly match physical stock with system records.

• Follow FIFO/FEFO practices, particularly for products with expiry dates.

• Keep a close watch on expiry, near-expiry, damaged, excess, and shortage stock.

• Investigate stock differences and take timely corrective action.

• Ensure that customer and distributor orders are picked and dispatched accurately and on time.

• Coordinate with the Sales, Purchase, Accounts, Logistics, and Distribution teams whenever required.

• Manage relationships and coordination with transporters and logistics partners.

• Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, loaders, and other team members.

• Allocate daily work, monitor attendance and productivity, and maintain discipline within the warehouse.

• Train the warehouse team on proper handling, storage, safety, and operational procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Take appropriate measures to minimize damage, wastage, expiry, pilferage, and stock losses.

• Maintain proper records of inward and outward movement, returns, stock transfers, and damaged goods.

• Prepare regular stock, inventory, dispatch, and warehouse MIS reports for management.

• Support periodic physical stock verification and internal/external stock audits.

Tally Knowledge – Mandatory

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime, particularly for warehouse and inventory-related activities.

The candidate should be comfortable with:

• Stock and inventory entries

• Purchase and sales-related inventory records

• Stock transfers

• Stock reconciliation

• Checking inventory reports

• Maintaining accurate warehouse-related records in Tally

Advanced Excel – Mandatory

The candidate must be comfortable using Advanced Excel for day-to-day reporting and inventory analysis.

Working knowledge of the following will be expected:

• VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP

• Pivot Tables

• SUMIF / SUMIFS

• COUNTIF / COUNTIFS

• IF functions

• Sorting and filtering

• Conditional formatting

• Data validation

• Stock reconciliation

• Inventory analysis

• Preparation of MIS reports

Candidates who do not have practical working knowledge of Tally and Advanced Excel will not be considered for this position.

• 5–10 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management.

• Experience in FMCG, food, beverage, retail, consumer goods, or distribution will be preferred.

• Good understanding of warehouse and inventory processes.

• Strong Tally and Advanced Excel skills.

• Good leadership and people-management abilities.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

• Willingness to work in a hands-on operational environment.
