Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment involving high dispatch volumes and multiple SKUs. The role requires strong expertise in inventory accuracy, order processing efficiency, team supervision, and coordination with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and smooth operations.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, process-driven, and capable of handling day-to-day warehouse activities including inward material receipt, storage, picking, packing, dispatch planning, and stock control.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Dispatch Operations

· Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.

· Ensure timely processing of customer orders with high accuracy and minimal errors.

· Plan and monitor daily dispatch schedules based on order priority and delivery timelines.

· Ensure proper labeling, packing standards, and documentation for dispatches.

· Optimize warehouse layout for efficient movement of fast-moving items.

Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple SKUs.

· Conduct periodic physical stock checks and cycle counts.

· Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

· Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.

· Minimize stock discrepancies, damages, and losses.

Coordination with Internal Teams

· Coordinate closely with sales team for order processing and dispatch priorities.

· Work with procurement team for timely inward material planning.

· Align with accounts team for dispatch documentation requirements.

· Coordinate with logistics partners and transporters for timely deliveries.

Team Management

· Supervise warehouse staff including pickers, packers, loaders, and helpers.

· Allocate work based on daily order volume and priority.

· Train staff on material handling procedures and dispatch accuracy.

· Maintain discipline and ensure adherence to company processes.

Logistics & Documentation

· Ensure accurate preparation of delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, and transport documents.

· Monitor transporter performance and delivery timelines.

· Ensure proper handling of returns, damaged goods, and replacements.

· Maintain inward and outward registers and ERP entries.

Process Improvement

· Implement systems to improve order processing speed and accuracy.

· Reduce dispatch errors and improve customer satisfaction.

· Suggest improvements in warehouse layout, racking, and material flow.

· Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions.

Compliance & Safety

· Ensure safe handling and storage of goods.

· Maintain proper housekeeping and organized storage.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and safety norms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management in a distribution, trading, or supply chain environment.

· Experience handling high dispatch volumes and multiple SKUs.

· Strong knowledge of inventory control and dispatch processes.

· Experience using ERP or inventory management software preferred.

· Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.

· Good coordination and communication skills.

· Working knowledge of MS Excel.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.
